Bonnie Raitt + her band were BEYOND AWESOME !
Bonnie has been a favorite of mine for many years, faithfully following her career. She did not fail to impress. I had the privilege of attending both nights at the Beacon. Her voice is better than ever, hitting those notes with the same clarity and emotion as she did 30 years ago. Both nights were thoroughly enjoyable, but the show on June 21st really stood out. She delivered a few extra encores and had the crowd energized. Watching her on stage with her band-mates, all of whom are accomplished in their own right, was a treat. Bonnie has a remarkable connection with the audience, always gracious and generous with her praise for her colleagues on and off the stage. She is a fine human being, a talented artist, and a great lady. I would love the opportunity to meet her and convey my admiration.

Public Enemy was truly incredible! I knew going into the concert that he was a talented singer/songwriter and a great performer from seeing him on youtube and tv, but this concert truly surprised me. He was truly authentic - not a single back track was used, which is rare. The event's lighting was amazing and his band incorporated so many fun, cute dance moves. I would see Public Enemy again in a heartbeat. Before the show, I was already in love with his smile and voice, but after this, he has stolen my heart. It's been 3 days since the concert and I am still watching the videos over, listening to his songs non stop.
